When Marvel Studios officially ended production on its Phase 4 film slate last month, there were some lingering questions about the future of the MCU.
As such, EW sat down with cast members from The Avengers: Age of Ultron to get their thoughts on the end of the line for the MCB.
“We’re all pretty excited about the endgame, so we’re just trying to wrap our heads around it,” says Captain America: Civil War’s Chris Evans, who played Nick Fury in Phase 3.
“I think we’re all excited about where it’s going.”
He continued, “I’m not gonna lie, I was thinking about what we could do with our characters that we didn’t get to do in Phase 4.”
Evans said that he would be happy to do more movies with his fellow Avengers and that he wants to play more of an active role in their future.
“At the end, we all just want to continue with our own stories and do what we’re passionate about,” he said.
“It’s kind of a big thing for us that the movie we were in, and what we did in the movies, was so good that it’s a little bit difficult to do something else.
We’re all really excited about it.”
Captain America 3 is set to hit theaters on March 8, 2019.
We’ve also got the scoop on who else is set for a big Marvel film, including Ant-Man and the Wasp, a Thor: Ragnarok sequel, and a Thor Infinity War trailer.
